How can I inspect whether my infant’s stool is normal or not?

Stool excreted by a breastfed baby in the first two months is usually quite watery. There may be a little mucus and a few particles. The stool may smell a little bit sour. Some infants may have a bowel movement right after breastfeeding. All of these phenomena are normal. They are not diarrhea at all; waste produced by babies may take shape only after they begin to take solid food. You should not feel worried as long as your baby has no difficulty in discharging, suffers no bloating, does not cry anxiously and as long as he/she eats and pisses normally.
